Hi all

Got J e e p Cherokee XJ 1996 2.5 petrol changed the front springs for the 4L springs now having issues every time i hit a bump/pot hole/etc at 50mph and get a really bad shaking any help would be appreciated.

Could try a 4x4 form .

Sound like something not put back together properly . Or worn bushes

Solid axle ain't they ? . That's why I thought bushes ..

Has it raised the ride hight much . Maybe off set steering .

Do they have a steering damper ?

I'd go ride height is now over stock so front props steeper and caster angles changed .

I agree with Gribble, more often than not death wobble is caused by incorrect castor angle, you can get castor correction bushes for a lot of 4x4's, not sure about 4x4s.

Shes had a 2'' lift on her for the past two years its only now the shake of 'death' has started some of the bushes are worn but still serviceable.

hay Dave Yeh the Sandhippie user name I couldn't remember the password easier making new one.
