Mines the same a couple of trips and it feels normal again just slightly more prone to over steer due to the camber change. _________________ Front Aussie Locker - Rear LSD - Petrol Diffs

Yes it is more prone to over steer, just making sure everthing is ok by lifting it a little on the front (hopefully i don't need to turn balljoint round) _________________ 2011 3.0l Hilux Invincible

I have +2" on the front of a mk1 (less travel than a mk2) with no camber issues, a flip would help with down travel but would necessitate the use of a decent spacer behind the fulcrum pin.

i have just finished lifting mine 2" it was easy and cheap.
it does drive funny but it is alot better off road i think i am going to be doing a 4x4 day this sunday so i will know for sure then.
even though i only lifted mine 2" i still flipped the top joint. |

How did you go about a cheap way of lifting your Trooper, mine is only ever used off road so not fussed about on road use

A quick description on how to do the front is all i need, just a guide on where on the vehicle to find the bits I need to adjust etc,,,,Thanks |

put a 27mm (i think) socket on a breaker bar and turn the torsion bar adjusting bolt
the bolts are the big ones near the top of the pic

Them are the ones, also remember to measure everything before you start and its approx 4 complete turns to 1" of lift. _________________ |

They are the same springs afaik, and there isnt much difference in weight 3.1 SWB 1900kg LWB 1985kg,
so there is probably only an extra 45kg on the back axle. _________________ |
