Hello,

Simple yes/no... ?

If I add 50mm spring spacers to the rear springs, do the front torsion bars and sort toe in/toe out of the front wheels.... Will that give me more room to put bigger tyres on?

cheers chaps!

What size bigger tyres?

265/75/16 that equate to about 32 inches will go on fine, 285/75/16 (about 33 inch) will go on but "might" catch on full lock/articulation?

Depends what your putting on Wink

Hi,

I've got 265's on with no lift, bog standard and no rub at all... Yes it's 285's which hardly rub now... but I do want a bit more upwards and I'm adding 30mm ally spacers too. I'm happy with spacers.

Cheers

They will go on and be fine 90% of the time BUT if off roading they "might" catch Wink

Others will let you know for sure Wink

I am putting some on next week and i have +2 springs and putting 1" spacers on. We'll see if i need a body lift later Smile

I found that the 285 75 bfg at that I put on my mk4 with 30mm spacers 50mm spring spacers and torsion bars raised still tried to eat the arches on full lock
and the rears caught the top of the rear arch on full flex, infact at sibertoft in feb with Dylan I had 265 75 at2 on and they tried to eat the rear arch with the
30mm wheel spacers on. (on that bit ole rangey boy coulant get up)
As Dylan said depends on tyre make wheel off set ect ect it's a bit of try it an see

I can cope with that then, thanks.

I've always liked a bit of rubbing  Wink
