Pain in the arris. Removed the rear side ones in mine for the respray. You need to get inside and start in a corner at the base. You need to pull the rubber back and tuck it over the lip in the bodywork outwards. Work around the base and the sides. The window should then lift out from the base. You cannot lift the top out first as it interferes with the rain gutter. I used a couple of window removal tools to do it. It takes ages but with tie and care it can be done without damaging the rubber.
Leave the rubber on the window. To put it back in slide the top into place over the lip and then gently work the rubber back over the lip again.
You can get those sucket handle things to hold the glass to stop it falling out and breaking on the floor. Easier with two people. One holding, the other flipping the rubber.
You may need to give it some gentle persuasion when pulling the glass off. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

I may ... and its a tentative may be able to get one from a scrappy in Bicester. I am then heading to Preston afterwards. That won't be till the latter part of this month though. It all depends on how much time I get free. Judging from the BB2013 pictures its the drivers side you want _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

I know this is going back a bit and don`t know why it didn`t come up on my watched posts:
no, mate ..... I didn't get it fixed, just made a plywood window instead
and the day after the window company phoned to cancel, someone broke the small one in the rear door aswell |
