It can be very scenic in the Dales, especially if you come down as far as Kettlewell and drive the lanes that head over to the Ribblehead viaduct, but apart from the steps at the bottom of West Cam that most folk seem to drive round instead of up you won't be in 4WD, if you do drive over towards the Ribblehead viaduct any MK4's will have to grease their wheel arches to slip through the gates, they're pretty tight  Shocked

If you're doing the beginners route we did last time Adam (when Col drowned his truck) it would be best to change the lanes in the second half of the day round a bit so you go up the good bits instead of down.

Unless it's been repaired recently you should have some fun towards the end of the first lane.
