If only mate....  Very Happy
First, get a 3.1 airbox, including the bracket underneath, and all the hoses
Drill 'the hole' in the wing, easy enough, then...
When you come to drill a new hole in the inner wing, the hole cutter won't do it as the existing hole is there...hence use of a grinder.
You need to cut the 3.1 inlet hose down and shove it into the 3.0 inlet pipe, pretty easy really, BUT...I've blocked off the hole at the top of the snorkel and the motor runs ok, its drawing in air all over the place!  Evil or Very Mad
Sofar found an air leak where the outer pipe joins the inner wing tube, which will be a cow to seal, next along the line is the dogleg adaptor to the airbox....leaking at both ends...then there's the 3 bolt holes at the bottom of the airbox!
Needless to say, if air is getting in, so will water: when you block off the top of the snork, the motor should cut out within seconds, if it don't, then air is getting in...or water  Shocked
I've got some 100mm heatshrink that quotes 50% reduction, maybe that will be the answer  Very Happy

Yeah granted the hole in the inner wing is a bit of a pig. I just used the 3.0 air box and it's completely watertight.

Is the hole in the inner wing different on a 3.0 to a 3.1? if it's the same, then there's a little yellow anodised bar that comes with the snorkel, this just bolts in place to two existing M6 holes in the inner wing and it's marked where to pilot drill, then just cut the hole with a holesaw, nice tidy fit.

You do indeed get a bar to show where the centre is, but you can't use a holesaw as there's nothing for the pilot drill to engage, just half the existing hole: drilling without the pilot drill holding the cutter in place is impossible  Sad
Pete, did you need anything extra to fit the 3.0 box? Might have a go at refitting mine, although the 3.1 does work quite well: Its the hard plastic tubing the snork pipes are made of that won't seal.
Try blocking off the top of your snork and see if the motor cuts out....  Wink

I Tigersealed all the joints on mine and my mates, both cut out under air starvation, but they're 3.1 snorkels on a 3.1, so I guess that makes a difference, can't you just tack a plate over the existing hole so you can centre it and drill it, I've never seen under a 3.0 bonnet so wouldn't know, they tell me it's not for the faint hearted, so I daren't look  Very Happy

Its pure magic under our bonnets!  Very Happy
You could indeed tack a plate on, or just butcher it with a grinder/1mm cutting disc, half worn, to get access, like I did  Embarassed
Its not too bad as its all out of sight, I just blasted the area with Hammerite smooth spraypaint after.
