Anyone know how to set up a charge system for a battery in an ifor williams tipper seen it on another 4x4 . basically just want to charge it on the move any ideas _________________ 96 3.1 bighorn lwb ,widetrack |

Obviously you need to find a safe way of connecting it (between the vehicle and trailer) but it will be the same as a caravan 12s wiring (or similar) so you'll need a smart relay like this or there are many similar, Basically it wont charge if the main vehicle is not putting out enough volts.

And rather than like caravans having many outputs (like fridge, reversing lights) It only needs the charge cable
Someone might know of something simpler but this is the kind of route i would take. _________________

Thanks Dylan , will look at that .i found a heavy duty plug to connect trailer battery to the trooper so that's not a problem ,thanks for info ,this is just an idea I'm thinking of _________________ 96 3.1 bighorn lwb ,widetrack |
