radio 2. arrrrwwww!
i had enough to!
i had to
.unscrew the hi/low ratio slecta handle
.unscrew the four screws on the big plastic cover (over the gear selecta)
and lift off. unplug the power/winter buttons
then there was three screws on the black surround that covers the radio, ash tray, powersocket and coin tray.
then the radio is fully accessable undo the clamps and it slides stright out.
hay presto!

good luck chris

ps that was on a 2000 swb bighorn auto

Which trooper have you got??

I've got a 3.1 Duty, and I had to take the whole facia off the dash, as the radio is bolted in - no quick release system here!
Mind you once you get in there it doesn't take long.

mine is a 2000 w.. swb 3.5auto

its the same on most troopers.
