I posted this a bit further down but nicked someone elses post Embarassed
After the probs with the brakes Twisted Evil I also have an issue with the steering wheel.
It has the usual problems linked to the power steering box, which I understand can be adjusted, but the one which is more problematic is the fact I can move the steering wheel in all directions by holding on to the wheel and "jiggling" it.
I understand (from a fellow member) that is is the top bearing on the steering column.
Does anyone know how to change this, and what I am asking for when I ring the dealer?

Many thanks in advance.
Mark

If you can get the bearing off try a local bearing factor as they may be able to match it to a standard off the shelf bearing for far less than a main dealer will charge you. Most bearings are generally a standard size. Have a look in yellow pages under bearings. Steering column bearings can be a PITA to change though as they are difficult sometimes to get at.

If you go here http://www.itocuk.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=2290 then you can download the full Isuzu workshop manual, that might be a good place to start.
