Hello all right ive just got in from a long test drive after disconnecting the white wire and although the power has reduced it runs spot on no misfire no cutting out!
So would i be correct in thinking that its definetly the orps that is the problem?
thanks you all

Yeah - It's the ORPS!!
There's no guarantee that there are not OTHER problems as well - but if it won't start - then snip and now it WILL start - it's kinda obvious that the CHANGE is the signal from the ORPS! _________________ 2002 LWB Trooper 3.0L

Brilliant cheers lads i woulda been lost with out ya knowledge!
After losing my patience on waiting for call backs from isuzu dealers who dont seem to have a clue what there on about. A 60 second phone call to MILNER 4X4 has got me a genuine part being delivered tomorrow and its 50 quid cheaper!
Now i just need to follow gribbles guide to changing the little *beep*

Its always started but when it got warm it developed a terrible misfire would cut out and idle would be really rough!
But since un plugging the white wire it runs fine a little down on power but no misfire and smooth idle |

IIRC you should not drive it with the white wire disconnected _________________ Bighorn 3.1TD SWB (1993), 3" suspension lift, snorkel

Really? i only poodled along one person on here said you will have hardly any power another said it actually drives ok so i thought a test drive will tell me if the fault is still there or not i definetly wont be taking it out till its fixed now but i really apreciate all your help.
With regards to t2 ing the sensor would a vauxhall dealer be able to help?? |

now with regards to tech 2 ing the sensor is it a must? will i notice a difference? will it harm the engine? My mate whos a vauxhall technician says the ecu should learn itself.
but i would rather take experienced advice from you gents if you can help?

the reason you do it at the injector plug is because the pin can be removed very easy from the plug and refitted without the need for actually cutting the wire but each to their own i suppose |
How do you remove the pin from the socket? Do you have to remove the grey cap that clips over the top of the black plastic plug that houses the pins or can you push a small screw driver beside the female part of the pin to unlock it and allow it to slide out? |
