|

Looking for some help on our 2004 Trooper 3.0
Truck starts no problem , but when sitting for about 20sec the revs drop and idles erratic , give it some revs and it sorts it after a bit of spluttering.
Seems to only do it when starting from cold .
Was thinking maybe leak in fuel line or MAP ?
Your thought please
Cheers

Has it got 5/30 synthetic oil in it? Does it smoke when spluttering? If so what colour smoke. Just a few questions to help the lads _________________

Thanks for reply ,
Yes it has 5w30 fully synthetic , smokes slighty when revs drop , colour think its grey and it disperses quickly.
No smoke when idles back to normal. |

Little update ,
Just went to start truck , and it seemed to crank no bother but as if it was chasing looking for fuel then started ? and slight grey smoke then clears. |
