on the m5 coming back from stroud earlier this year

the new member of the family.... well not new, you know what I mean. Very Happy

2.6 petrol sounds nice if I can keep it running long enough to tick over.

the body and chassis is in pretty good order, but didn`t buy it for the engine, just spares  Smile

thanks guys..

unfortunately I don`t have room at the g/f`s for it, there`s just enough room in her back yard to turn my bike round, so I`m renting a garage just to keep it in,

not to worry its also come in handy for the bits I picked up from lenny, not much room  left in there now though  Laughing

so far, its missing its speedo cable  Laughing

lenny, I`ve messaged neal but he doesn't have the keys, its not a problem I just use the original and central locking to lock all doors.  Smile

actually the red one came with two keys...one of which fitted the white door   Cool

it was a real pain in the aris to feed the wiring through the big door  Confused  made harder because there was no hole hacked in it for a speaker (like in mine)

also fitted the rear bumpers and light guard`s,  looks much better  Very Happy

Good the bits are coming in useful, sorry I lost the keys thought i put them in with the small bits, must still be in the hole in the wall of the council garage that I stored the white trooper in so they were always there when trooper was complete  unfortunately haven't got it anymore someone will find them one day.

from joy to sorrow..

I have been keeping this truck in a council lock-up since fetching it from a friend's drive in stroud,

now, no work, no funds and no where else to put it, means I have to let it go,

it's in the 'for sale' section

I'm gutted.  Sad

Hate that... I luckily have lots of storage but still need to do a clear out myself :/

It's annoying be forced to let go stuff you'd rather keep

I think an update from me is in order regarding the Mk1 situation!...........

As from summer 2016, the red 89 2.6 G-reg lwb now resides at Trooper Dan's place in Pocklington.

And my trusty old green 2.8 Mk1 lwb, much loved and trusted for many years........... as of 17/01/17 is also residing at Trooper Dan's place  Crying or Very sad  yes, I'm gutted.

My new, (to me) truck is a Mk4 2002 lwb, which is very comfy and warm, (now it has a thermostat in it) and SHE WHO MUST BE OBAYED is happier she's NOT being bounced

around in a vehicle with MAN suspension and a paint job Stevie Wonder would be proud of.. Embarassed   Laughing

so that's it, each one has a story attached to it, but as I'm a one finger typist I'm not going into that here   Laughing

see my shiny new truck at this years Big Bash

or if I can figure out photo bucket, I might put up a few pics.... Confused
