Any ideas where i might be able to source an ecu for a 57 plate truck.the mechanics at work have one which can't be read with tech 2 or snap-on machine, apparently the unit has a prodrive chip installed, dealer denied any knowledge of this even though it was bought new from them, supposedly a botched side project. The installers of the chip don't want to know either.
Just thought i'd ask to help the lads out ,knowing that the experts on the forum will give an honest view on this.
I've no idea on rodeos, to modern for me.

its different software  needed for that year onwards so the normal isuzu card won't read it, and if you just change the ecu it might not start because of the keys being coded

Thanks for the reply, the chap who owns the truck is wanting to sell it(drives a disco now),i can't see the mechanics wanting to put too much time and money into it,i think they were after an easyish fix but if its going to be "one of those jobs" they'll be leaving it up to the owner as to what he wants to do.Tbh its not the best example around,a bit rough round the edges not been abused, just a bit tatty, still could be some value in it for him.
This is why i love my bighorn,no damned computer!
