New beefed up strainer finally arrived.Fitted it yesterday, complete with silicon around seal, sump back on as well.Filled with oil this morning, held my breath and turned the key......life at last.Left it on idle to warm up and recharge for a bit and will replace all the underneath gubbins shortly and take her for a run and see what happens. So far so good.......

All back together again, even put in a NRV on return fuel line.Went for a run,bit of white smoke for first couple of miles, after that seemed good.Does the tech 2 need plugged in again to reprogram or is that purely a fault finding tool?Don't want to go back to the garage for it unless I really have to.Got to unplug the EGR again which was plumbed back in,other than that, looking OK,so thanks to all for your invaluable help on this,6 weeks without my farm towing vehicle at this time of year is too long.....Not sure what other feedback I can give, hopefully this is us up and running again.
