Vacuum pump is on the back of the alternator. You want the small pipe on top that points to the engine.

You can ignore the tank, but in case of a split in the pipework it gives you a reserve of vacuum. Please please make sure you put the check valve in ... and the right way. You want this as near to the vac pump as possible and protected. This will limit the chances of a vacuum leak (which will affect your brakes).
That actuator is actually a filter/valve thingy that the QWS and EGR system comes in on I believe. You can ignore it if you wish and just tap into the check valve from the pump. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

Plumb the tank in. You might need that reserve of vacuum to give it some extra oomph to power the front actuator. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

There isn't one - remember the vac system is sucking from the pump so the tanks just a reserve .
A simple test is to pull of the pipes on the sotf actuator and see if the sucks on the one near the diff then press fwd and see if it changes over .
If theres no suck or no change over a read of Rhanagars guide is the next step . _________________ 2 New Troopers ! |

To test the 4wd jack up the n/s front wheel and see if you can turn it when 4wds in , hand brake on, engine running. If the front prop goes round then its a t/box end fault .If the prop says still its an axle fault.
Probably . _________________ 2 New Troopers ! |
