The cost of doing the above is the same if not a bit more than the value of the car.

Is it worth doing the job? Can anyone on here do it cheaper than the garage? It's a gritty job.

Trooper, very low mileage, hasn't caused me a problem in the past but wondering if maybe now is the time let it go....

Sad days.

How odd , I am doing the same job (broken glow plugs and one injector ) for another member near Horsham very soon .

I would advise you the same though , don't change injectors until you have had Tech 2 confirm faulty ones and unless the glow plugs have all snapped off below the head there is some chance of drilling them out .

How do I find the part number? Garage can't find it until sump comes off but have told me I can save a lot of money buying a secondhand injector?

They can have a look when they start the work but will then need to locate a second hand injector, would prefer to do this in advance to speed process up?

Aren't all troopers injectors the same?

Any tips please?

Thanks

Have you spoken to an Isuzu dealer and made sure your car isnt eligable for free replacement injectors on the recall scheme?

No point paying out for replacements if they'll do it for free!
