Morning All,

I have just replaced all fliters including fuel.
When I come to pump the primer I have been at for more than ten minutes and the pump has not gone hard. Whilst my arm and wrist are familar with such actions it does seem excessive.

Could someone please confirm if this is normal and if not next actions??

Thank you in adavnce

Nick.

Thanks for the reply.
After pumping for maybe 20 mins I phoned a friend. He suggested as there was less than 1/4 in the tank it was not pulling fuel through.

I started the engine and then pumped the primer till stiff and slightly opened the bleed valve till fuel appeared.
Give it a run and all seems well.

I now know my mistake, when I removed the pipes off the filter housing I did not clamp them.
Everydays a school day.

Cheers.
