Hi Guys,

Been for a play this weekend Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy I have had the trooper fully cross axled (sat on F/N/S and R/O/S wheels) and they miss the arches by about 1" at the closest point. As for grip... had no problems at all even in the stickiest Lake District Mud.

Spike - I paid £129 on eebuygum ... part worns though they are still 20mm deep.

Webby - They are standard alloys off a MK3 trooper (like Siwebs Bighorn). They are 16x7 alloys with 265/75/16 rubber.

Hi Chris

Just beeb reading ur thread and am lookin at going 265/75/16 on a swb 03 trooper, just was wondering are you still happy with ur choice and what are they like noise and vibration wise? Also what do you think of them to look at?
Cheers Mr. Green

Noise ... Vibration ... Bucketloads of both when im running the Grizzly claws!!! I have a set of steel wheels running Yokohama Y816 Super Diggers as my regular wheels. The compound seems a little soft for road use - might wear a little quick

Offroad the Grizzly Claws are awesome! They outperformed the same size BF Goodrich MT's on my mates landerover (hehehe - he got stuck!)

They are great for offroad but for a daily driver they would send you nuts!

Your speedo will also read wrong (reads about 70mph when your doing 77mph)

Right right. Im gonna be going for sumthing like bridgestone A/Ts so hopefully that will cut the noise and vibration well down Rolling Eyes

Do you find it catching the arches at all and does the tyre sit out at all past the arches with the wider profile?
Cheers
