Why is it so hard to get used spares for troopers. Only need one rear wheel hub and no breakers have got any.

Anyone know of any 4x4 breakers anywhere?

Hi Ethel,

There is a 4x4 breakers near to Barnsley try this link http://www.bluebridge4x4.co.uk/

They have lots of everything and are very reasonable on prices. They also do country wide delivery.

Good luck.

Skoly.

Hope this helps anyone else.

Hi. I've just got bought an import and the wholesaler uses the following by phone or web http://find-a-part.com/ apparently they source from many breakers which saves the leg work. Haven't tried them yet!

Good Luck

Thanks for that, already got their catalogue.

Got the cap i wanted, used, for £15 +vat from the one at leeds.

Think those may be smaller caps. The ones we want are £55 + vat form Isuzu.

If you need parts, try D. Hales in Bristol. Last time I was there they have about 3 Troopers, mostly intact (other than the bits I had off them!).

Tried both Find-a-Part and 247 Spares -- and, between them, I got direct calls from eight suppliers (for both bare/new and complete/recon cylinder heads...) in under three hours: all quoting pretty comparable prices, with delivery the next day....

[See my other post as to why I needed a replacement head in the first place...!]

If I remember, I shall let everyone know how I eventually got on. Confused

Cheers...
