help
running a 3.2 v6 1993 really nice truck but now and again lacks power and jerks in the middle of the thottle push hard and its goes well think when its wet
please where is my iat sensor as i have one of those 20 bhp things

anygood ?

sounds like the throttle position sensor common fault easily cured fit new

bolted on to the side of the throttle body where accelerator cable goes to

it's a resistor that fools the ecu into thinking that the engine is cold,and so dumps more fuel in. this will decrease mpg,and go a fair way to cooking your head Wink

its also a good way to get bore wash and knackered cylinders/rings as the extra fuel washes away the thin layer of oil on the cylinder bores l;eading to excessive wear.
