|
|
Hi , I have recently purchased a 2002 trooper 3.0TD ,I am looking to completely build it got off road use as well as road & would be looking to take it to Europe ! but it hasn't got any air con ! Is this an easy job to install the system ?? & what components would I need ??
I know obviously I need the pump & the main radiator box ! But what other parts do I need ??
Any help greatly appreciated |

Must be a duty model, most troopers I've seen have air con
Air cond matrix
Air con pipes around the engine bay
air con rad
condenser
air con tensioner
2 v belts
Lots of bolts!
Easy enough to take out not quite sure about fitting, buying the parts from the dealer will involve donating a kidney. |

Can be any model tbh.
Evaporator (radiator type thing) and expansion valve, plus the associated pipework and internal duct work.
All the various pipes around the engine bay.
Condenser (radiator type thing) that sits in front of the main radiator.
Filter dryer unit that sits next to the Condenser.
Compressor.
Compressor mount plates.
2 off belts (different length to the non-aircon one)
Unsure if the wiring is present but if it isn't then you will need the air temp sensor, button for the dash, and all the wiring inbetween the lot. _________________ 1990 Isuzu Bighorn LWB Mk.I 2.8TD Manual Lotus Edition

wiring is all there and apart from the parts listed above you will need the switch, fuse, relay, also depending on what make of kit you get the temp sensor might need to have the plug changed to fit the wiring.
you will also need 750g of gas and some of the oil. i've got some genuine installation instructions somewhere i might be able to scan and send you if you need them |
