Hi Guys

I’ve got the fuel tank off my 3.0L Diesel at the moment and want to replace the rubber hoses which in turn connect to metal pipes more or less on top of the rear axle and from there the metal pipes go to the front of the car.

My local motor factors are selling tubing with a marketing label on them Pearl Consumables PPH05C fuel hose suitable for leaded and unleaded SAE J30 R6, ((No mention about being suitable for diesel)).

I’ve been on the advancefluidsolutions.co.uk website and it says to use R7 R9 or R10 for fuel injection as these hoses have a higher temp rating.

I’ve two questions:

1/  Will the SAE J30 R6 be suitable as afore mentioned there is nothing on the hose saying suitable for diesels?

2/  Which will I need R6, R7, R9, R10?

I don't want to maul the tank back off again because Iv'e fitted the wrong tubing.

Cheers

Clive
