I'm going to use this thread to chart my progress with my mods that I will be making in the near future. My aim is to increase torque to improve drivability without sacrificing to much fuel (L/km). I am currently on roughly 7.5km/L or 13.3L/100km.

Upcoming mods will be a Dawes Device Boost controller, 2.5" or 3" turbo back exhaust, snorkel, and an intercooler fan.

I have finally got my EGT (pre-turbo) and boost gauge (post-intercooler) installed and running, I've had the injectors and injector pump reconditioned, and had the timing set - all to factory specs. I have also installed a new non-genuine turbo, and removed the QWS in the intake and exhaust.

Below are the results of my testing (I will update this as I progress):

Factory specs as listed above, no mods:

Boost max = 7.9psi
EGT max = 750C (0-80km/h on the flat, backed off when the alarm hit 750C)
Sitting on 100km/h Boost = 6psi EGT = 500C
No uphill, full throttle testing yet.

This weekend I will turn the boost up to 11.5psi, I believe this is the factory setting. Hopefully this will lower my EGTs to remain under 750C

I've had a small play with the boost controller. Now sitting at 9.5psi and have not hit the 750C alarm yet
