Hi guys

Does anyone know how the Evapo works, there are three rubber tubes which connect to it.
One goes to the air cleaner at the front of the car, another connects onto “I think is a balance valve” on top of the fuel tank and the third rubber tube which is about 50mm long and open ended goes nowhere.

I don’t want to cut it open but I would like to know what it does and how, also I assume these three tubes can be incorrectly connected to it.
Looking at page 1668 in the manual would I be right in assuming the middle connection on the Evapo connects to the balance valves on the tank as shown.
