Nice Trooper you have there in the pictures. Can see it in your avatar picture, but it's too small for any good detail. You have a LWB model and do you have the 2.8 turbo diesel engine? How many miles do you have on it? |

Cool, as much as I've heard about the 2.8td and how great of an engine it is I'd consider you not to have too high of a mileage count even with 189,000 miles. I really hope one day I can buy a good used 2.8td with gearbox to convert a 2.6 gas Trooper over here in the States. I've found the 4JB1-T diesel is becoming a better and better built engine the more I hear/learn about it. By the way I hope the turbo diesel goes another 200,000 miles for ya and you've got a nice Trooper there mate.

you wont beat the 4jb1-t engine. Mines on 115k miles and it starts on the button and runs like clockwork! Doesnt use a drop of oil either |

Good old rivington! Im off there on Sunday on the Mountain Bikes with the lads... we often ride up rivington just to ride down that very same path... it gets a little hairy towards the bottom as its easy to reach 25mph+ on the rocky sections or 40mph+ on the smooth _________________ Isuzu Rodeo Denver Max LE | 265/65R18 BF Goodrich AT LTM No.60

Just make sure you can stop quick if you see a trooper on its way up _________________ |

Nice looking machine mate!
Love that bar on the front.
Regarding the 2.8, I just converted the k-meter to miles, it's about 122,000 miles. Just a wee bit of smoke when first starts in the cold mornings, nothing major, goes away really quickly, that's if you noticed it in the first place. Fires up within 3 seconds every day no matter what. _________________ 1996 Mazda B2500 |
