Bought it .. well yesterday I did.

1994 (imported 2004) Mk.II Isuzu Bighorn 3.1 TD auto Lotus Edition.

Had for less than 90 mins and already in the mud lol.

More pictures to follow.

A few things need looking at. Pump has been tweaked and is rolling coal a bit too much. No heat from the climate control, and could do with a full oil and lubes service. Will dump out the EGR's etc and swap a few things from the remains of Brenda like the Stainless nudge bar (complete with night sun and Anderson connector) and the Aisin manual hubs.

Looks very tidy Neal, I prefer that straight bonnet lines, much neater than the newer ones.

Like all "new" old cars there are a few things needing looking at.

First off was no heating in the cab. Everything works controls wise, just no warm .. let alone hot air.

Started her up and let her warm up. Felt heater matrix hoses and the bottom one got hot, the top stayed stone cold. Blocked matrix.

Got the hose out last night. Popped the hoses off the engine and stuffed the hose in the top one. Nothing apart from a wet face as it backfired. Stuffed the hose in the bottom one and nothing, then a pop and a wet mucky face as the blockage cleared.

Flushed it back and forth a few times for 15 mins. Dropped the "coolant" and flushed the engine out and put it all back together. Filled and started. Got to temp and both hoses are now getting hot and we have heat in the cabin. Happy days. Will probably flush her out a few times over the next couple of weeks to get all the crud out and then replace with coolant.

Things are moving on.

Went from this:

to this:

That was interesting. Snapped at least two bolts and a few others were almost near to the same. Spent ages digging around trying to find enough M10 fine bolts the right length. Still need two more for the recovery hook. Good thing about this is the LED nightsun and jump lead anderson connector went across as well. Just need to wire in the nightsun to the foglight wires, and wire in the switch for the anderson connector relay.

Also ditched the stupid aftermarket drinks holder that doesn't hold drinks of you are in park:

for the OEM coin holder and clock (Needs cleaning as it has been exposed to the elements for 3 weeks):

Swapped out the door blanks:

for the OEM door tweeters:

All in all a productive day.
