Dear ALL

Live in London M25 Junction 4

Timing belt light came on at 60,000 miles after the previous timing belt replacement.

have had the timing belt replaced by a local National frachise independent motor repair shop.

Took the car from the shop and soon notice that the timing belt LIGHT was still on.

Theiy said  that it will tahe 2 hours to reset the warning light and that the whole dash will need  to come out as well.

Meaning and extra cost in addition to the original cost of supply and fitting of the cambelt.

have gone back to them. they still insist on extra cost, small claims court now?
how does on reset the timing belt warning light?

Theodore

You take the clocks surround off. Remove the clocks and move a screw from one hole to the one next to it:

The screw is in a hole marked KSW. Move it to the other hole marked KSW.

Should take about 30 mins max.
