Hi, i have an 98 Isuzu citation 3 liter turbo diesel.
we was driving down the road perfectly fine and it was if someone turned the key off, managed to coast off the road
then tried starting it turned it over but didn't start so i primed the filter but no air it had plenty of fuel coming out after 15mins of turning
it over it started it got us home then tried it next day but still it didn't fire up again.
we have changed all the filters someone said try the crankshaft sensor that was fine
been turning it over for the past week and today it started perfect for 10 mins it ticked over and just cut out again just like before.
can anyone help please??????

could be orps they usually cause cutting out when slowing down though and can cause bad starting or a complete non start or it could be the orcv they will cut out whenever it wants and won't start. has it had any other symptoms like hunting or no throttle when started?

injectors run off of a different oil pressure, the one on the dash is for lubrication only it won't give you any indication if the injection oil pressure is wrong,

the round one is the orps nearer the front of the engine the other is a temp sensor, if you grind down a 14mm spanner you can do it without disturbing the injectors and the rail

no, but on tech2 you can see its data and sometimes you can tell from that so  put a new one in but try to get someone to zero it in on tech2 so it runs at its optimum
