For any of us that have had to work on the alternator , and I suspect thats a lot, I added some hood supports that I found on eebuygum, had to remove some rubber bumpers and flatten the head of there bolts, it works great. Now at least the factory hood support isnt in the way....

Neat modification there, very good.
When I replaced my alternator I used a broom to hold the bonnet right up out of the way!  Shocked  Shocked
That support pole does get in the way many times!
