I am going to fit a hood scoop on my non scoop bonnet (swapped 3.1D in place of the old 3.5 gas) .  Does anyone know the measurement from the back of the bonnet (near cowl) the to back of the scoop?

Many thanks,

Remember the hole for the intercooler is offset to one side .. also you may find that the petrol bonnet has a reinforcement bar right where the hole goes.

Yep. It has a brace where the big hole should go. I'm debating whether to cut through the the brace or around it.

Leave it .. any airflow it restricts will be minimal .. bonnet folding every time you open and shut it however is going to be a pain in the arris.

Thanks so much for your help Rhanagar and taking the time to measure your scoop.  I cut around the bracing and it turned out pretty good.  Not as much airflow but better than nothing, and the scoop really improves the look too!
