Going  to change my fuel lines on my 3.1 lwb at the weekend its of the road just now due to rotten fuel pipes but it is 20 years old and I rekon they are the original steel pipes fitted when new so to be expected any pointers I should no before I start the job.

Will be the firts time I have done this so any does and donts would be helpful.

Planning on doing a small write up with photos for anyone else needing to do the job.

I just bought 5 m of 6 mm rubber fuel pipe and 10 m 8 mm hope this is right.

Yup .. 8mm feed, and 6mm return is perfect.

As for priming don't use the plunger/button thing on the filter. They are prone to splitting when used and then draw air in. I personally make sure the battery is good and crank.
