Hi guys. 96 Monterey 3.1. Cannot unlock drivers door. Having to unlock via passenger side and quickly open passenger door before central locking re-locks. Getting in and out through passenger side is starting to get old and a pain in the *beep*. Any ideas? Because cannot open door, cannot get door trim off to access locking mechanism. Cheers
Mac

With a bit of effort you can remove the inside handle without damaging anything. You might be able to see inside to see what is going wrong.

Managed to unlock door with wire coat hanger and a bit of swearing. Once unlocked, could open door and remove trim. Mechanism was rusted and seized not allowing to unlock. Bit of wire brushing and little coat of spray grease and works like a charm now.
