the condition is the same inside, spot on. no marks on the dash and the reccaro interior has'nt a mark or rip to it. the carpets like new and the body works great. got a few spots showing on the back door and surface rust around the window screen. once the engines sorted i'll see to those problems.
someone mentioned something as simple as over filling the oil could have sent her down, who knows _________________ Mk 1 1990 Irmscher . S. 2.8 TDI Trooper. |

everything points to the rings mate, for what it will cost i can buy a rotten 4x4 wi a good engine and still have spares. also i need the 4x4 on a daily basis and ant got time for it to be stuck in a garage for a week. _________________ Mk 1 1990 Irmscher . S. 2.8 TDI Trooper. |

mine same rings, but like someone said to me, it could also be liners and pistons too.
Price to rebuild bottom end £750.
But I already bought another trooper for spares which looks to have a good engine. |

custom made in your neck of the woods. Austrailian made for a mk1 pajario. bought it off a kid in london for £50 of eebuygum. he had some brackets made and fitted it for me when i drove down, i had a A bar on so i chucked that on the roof rack and brought that home, a good day in all. _________________ Mk 1 1990 Irmscher . Thought I'd seen that design of bar before
Most Aussie 4x4s have some HUGE mounting on the front of them. THey call the Trooper a Holden Jackaroo. It's amazing to look over the net at the Aus modified Troopers Often large protection all round. _________________ 1996 Mazda B2500 |
