Me mate has lifted the front on my MK1 for me by 2inches(possibly more didnt accurately measure it Laughing Laughing )
He's made the brackets for the back Very Happy He just needs to make a new hole size or something and will fit them next weekend Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy The back will be over 2 and half inches lift, can't wai, just the tyres now

Personally i'd go for 235/85/16 (27mm bigger diameter) and a mainstream manufacturer. Kumho MTs £71 each with free P&P for a set of 4 at www.camskill.co.uk

Yeah but then I'd need 16inch wheels, and don't want to start spending loads of money on it as just spent most my money buying a brand new family car Rolling Eyes

You can find 16" Frontera steels very cheap. They are the correct offset for Troops which is a bonus.
