Hi Guys
I've read a thread about windows moving up and down very slowly and it recommended using silicon spray, is silicon spray the best stuff to also use on the operating cable, also where the plastic lugs run up and down on the metal vertical rail or should I use grease or 3 in one oil on those parts?

Thanks for your help

Clive

Hi Malcolm

Thanks for your reply, I needed to get the job done so I've sprayed silicon on the cable, and the lugs which slide up and down in a vertical channel on the rear windows, also in the rubbers.

The front windows have a scissor type mechanism which again I've sprayed with silicon, all the windows are electric and they seem to be working fine now.

Thanks

Clive
