I have just bought a 2008 2.5 Denver and the Temperature Gauge fails to indicate at all. When I first turn the ignition on the gauge moves to full scale deflection and returns to cold, failing to indicate a temperature. Possibly linked to this the mileage Trip indicator digits are not indicating properly either so as they are in the same "Cluster" I am hoping that it may just be a bad connection, though because the gauge initially moves that may be a little optimistic  Rolling Eyes
Any assistance or advice would be greatly appreciated, my nearest dealer is around 95 miles away so that's my least favourite option.

Hi, Just an update, the fault was caused by the sender unit failing open circuit. I bought a new one for £18:95 from a main dealer and it was a ten minute fix. Its located at the base of the thermostat housing between the Idler pulley and the Air-con pulley. Don't have the part No to hand but if anyone else needs one message me and I will pass the details on.
