There seems to be a bit of steering wheel movement before the wheels move. All joints etc are ok. It looks like there is an adjustment point on the steering box for the gear mechanism backlash. If this is for adjusting can it be done by the likes of me or is it a specialist job. |

you can do it just back the nut off a couple of turns turn the screw in the centre quarter of a turn then tighten the nut up, give the steering a shake left to right to settle it down then see what the free play is like. if it's still to much then repeat again until you got the right amount of free play |

adjust first then check play and i do it with the engine off |
