Hi All.

I'm looking for an automatic locker for a front trooper diff. I've bought an Aussie Locker in the past but they don't seem to exist anymore. I've found Lokka who offer one and they say they are the same as Aussie locker used to be. Just wondering if there are any other alternatives out there?

Oh it's for a 1996 Corporate 10 bolt IFS diff with 17 spline axles.

As it got to be an automatic locker?
Just thinking ARB air locker if you want to throw the cash at it or Chinese copy air locker if you want to take the risk.

I'd really prefer an Auto locker at the moment.

For future reference though. What Chinki lockers are available?

Ozzy Lokka are the real deal, made by Goanna (the purple lizard decal one!)
I bought one a couple of years ago but sold it as I was skint...now searching for one I can afford. I paid about £300 once import fees and Vat were added

Hi Jacksdad.

Did you actually get chance to use it? Lokka don't seem to be very forthcoming with communications...

What make are the Chinese air lockers?

No, I sold it to Dan at Independant Isuzu, I think he fits them, as well.
They are proven to be excellent kit, and very reliable. There's much debate about who actually makes them, but I bought an Ozzy Lokka from "Gear to Goannawhere" and it was sent from Australia, with their 'blue lizard' logo stickers included.
Some people have bought them from the USA, still called Lokka, but no Gear to Goannawhere merchandising to be seen! I really think they are one and the same, and the actual parts are made by one manufacturer.
When funds allow, I'll be buying another, via my mate in Sydney, Oz, to avoid paying impost duty and Vat, like the one I bought first!  Very Happy

If they're anything like the 'Aussie Locker' I used to have then they should be fine. Had no issues at all with that and I think it's still going strong - must be 6 years old now!

Will find out and report back when my new truck is finished... just ordered 2!
