Will it work? I currently have no LSD in my SWB X-reg 3.0 (standard drivetrain) and I’m thinking of buying an LSD off a LWB to swap it over and give me more traction off-road.
Can anyone advise me on final ratios and whether this conversion is viable, if not, what are my alternatives.
Kind regards,
SSS

For off road use, given the fact that you've already got an 'open' diff, have you considered looking to see if a lunchbox/racket diff locker is an option for the 3.0.
Initially, you need to know shaft diameter and spline count. From there the investigation starts. Lokka.com would probably be your cheapest option over an air locker.
All got their different merits, but off roading, you'll be pleasantly surprised what a locked re diff in the correct applications will do for you.

Am I correct in thinking my rear axle is a Dana 44? If so, there’s plenty of options available in terms of rear lockers.
Thanks for the replies
