Hello everyone, after a lot of research I found a UK based KYB specialist, prepared to take on a rebuild project for me.

The OEM front shocks were gas monotube custom made by KYB for the Vehicross, and carry the Isuzu part number 8-97212533-0.
As of 2017, no longer available from Isuzu.
However as it happens, the rebuild kits are still available from KYB.

In my case, the spare front set I had, which needed rebuilding, had corrosion in the gas caps, and replacements needed to be engineered.

In my case, for a first ever rebuild, the kits from KYB, are a revised version, and allow for service parts to replaced on subsequent rebuilds, without needing the full kit.

Shocks went on the Vehicross yesterday, along with aftermarket KYB rears, (KG54308).

Now starts phase2, with the full set of originals going off to be rebuilt, and eventually I will refit the original rear gas monotube shocks.

But even at this stage, the Vehicross is transformed, ride, handling, attitude, pitch, for the first time feel right.
Not that I didn't expect that, as the shocks that were on the front were doing nothing.

I'll get some pictures together, and links and contact details etc, and post an update in the next days.
