|
|
So... With all the problems my 3.0tdi has had, I decided it's time to rebuild the whole engine.
It was completly dismanteled and I changed a lot of parts, including piston rods, crankshaft bearings, all sorts of other bearings, seals, pretty much new engine.
Put it back in, filled with oil and other goodies but it refuses to start.
Only error on tech2 is a fuel temp sensor, nothing else.
But the son of a preacherman refuses to start. It cranks till the batteries die but no start.
Any ideas on what I should do to it?
We, me and the mechanic, are out of ideas. It simply will not start. _________________ I expect nothing. I fear no one. I am free. |

Little update: might not be building oil pressure. Big might... _________________ I expect nothing. I fear no one. I am free. |

As far as he said, yes. But was not there when the belt and pulley were changed.
Will ask to do it again.
We are 100% out of ideas.
Thank you. _________________ I expect nothing. I fear no one. I am free. |

Removed, the entire engine was taken apart. _________________ I expect nothing. I fear no one. I am free. |

Just to be sure it's done right, is there a page/photo/clip where I can see how the whole timing is done? _________________ I expect nothing. I fear no one. I am free. |

Thank you very much.
Sent the photos to my mechanic.
He just confirmed that there is no oil pressure but he opened the oil pipe after the filter and oil was coming out of the pipe...
Unsure what that means or how it could find a solution. _________________ I expect nothing. I fear no one. I am free. |

Timing is good, valve is fine, still won't start.
No errors on tech2. _________________ I expect nothing. I fear no one. I am free. |
