Hello member for nearly a decade 1st time poster.
I’ve run my 3.0 for nearly 100000 miles out of the 185000 it’s done.
Recently while driving on a motorway at 70 mph the engine stops responding to the throttle.
If I allow the engine to idle in neutral the throttle control returns and it carries on as normal.
There are no lights illuminated on the dash when this occurs.
The vehicle starts perfectly and is not low on power and produces no smoke, the orps was replaced
Around 3000miles ago.
Gribble or Eithans input would be greatly appreciated!👍😋✌️

Hi, just wondering if you ever sorted your cold idle problem out.
When I start mine from cold it revs up to between 2000 and 2500 rpm for a minute or so then drops suddenly back to normal 900rpm. It does what a petrol engine does with an automatic choke...
The revs also stay up when I blip the accelerator for about 2 seconds then drops back to normal. Only does both issues when it’s a cold start. Any help would be appreciative. Thanks

Sadly, this site is slowing down as most folks use facebook (not me) a couple of years back you would have got a reply the same day.
