Recently the Fuel Filter warning light has come up on the dashboard.

Bought a new filter today thinking that was the cause, crawled underneath ready to swap it but first thing I noticed was that the wires for the sensor one of them has snapped clean off inside the housing.

Obviously even the new filter isn't going to rectify that so does anyone know what the resistance value of the sensor is so I can solder a resistor across the wires to trick the management system ?
