I need to replace the water hose from the inlet manifold to the turbo.
As access at the turbo side is limited, it looks like it's going to be very difficult to do.
Any tips on a handy way to do it, would be appreciated.

Thanks

Michael

Look for ethan's tip about jacking up the rear of the gearbox.

I'm assuming you mean the hose from the inlet manifold to the EGR rather than " ... from the inlet manifold to the turbo." ?

If it is the hose from the EGR cooler to the manifold then Eithens advice about jacking the gearbox up is the only way to do it in the vehicle. I found that the hose clips were the "Spring"type and imposible to get any pliers or grips on due to the position between the back of the head and the bulkhead. I had to just pull hard until the hose and clip came off the conection at the back of the head. 1\4" socket set for the new Jubilee clip (7mm socket) lots of extension bars and a U/J got the new hose back on.
I had to do mine last year. as my EGR is blanked off  I did not replace the hose but just blanked both ends off with a new length of short hose and a 10 mm bolt.
Good luck.
