Having had an engine rebuild around 3k ago,I now have oil leaking from the the large rubber boost pipe on top of engine, drives ok,no warning light or overheating but using oil,no excess smoke. Is this a sign of turbo failure or would it be some issue with engine rebuild ?

Help please !

I’m not an expert in these engines in the pickups but I do see them in passing on heavy plant, and generally when you get oil coming from turbo to intercooler it’s turbo related, have you checked the breather pipe that’s pre turbo

Thanks for the reply,it's been in at the garage who say it's not the turbo, they have removed and stripped engine to find 1 of the Pistons has overheated, they say this has been caused by a blockage on the injector, needs a new piston and liner,I'm hoping to get it back tommorow.
