Well ...Finally take off the head cylinder yesterday. I found several sticked water pipes. They all are going to trash.
When I look for first time my engine without the head cylinder, I saw my Isuzu diesel owner life in a second, then... i woke up to reality again. Just cannot belive what my eyes were seeing.
Looks like a mud pump cylinder....or any, but not a car motor cylinder.
I got water into the chambers... I found drops of water, sulphated zones, lots of heat spots and lots of soot in the pistons heads & upper part of liners.
I have to check if the head cylinder is twisted or not. _________________ all you have to do to call

did you suffer injector failure?
Looks like you need a new short motor at least, i cant imagine the cylinder head is much better, i notice lots of pitting on the outside of the combustion chamber of cyl1, it appears like your engine ran lean and you melted the pistons and more than likely warped the cylinder head. |

Injectors seems to be good. I have never got dark smoke. However Im going to test them at the lab to check if I need new nozzles. _________________ all you have to do to call

According to ther book I had a B grade head gasket (second from 3 grades options). What`s that mean ??...the engine was overhauled before or it is just a factory option...??

But if its done properly it should never go again, i'm a great believer in doing a job once a proper skim and then using the correct sequence and tork settings _________________ |

not necessarily been done before cos differing piston heights from manufacture alter the need for a thick gasket. But id get it skimmed and run gasket C. |

having the head skimmed does not alter the height of the pistons above the surface of the block and it is this measurment that determines the head gasket thickness
if new pistons are used allfour pistons are to be measurred from block face to top of piston then take an average of the measurements and choose the appropriate head gasket from the table
the gasket has nothing to do with whether the head has been skimmed the thickness of the head will determine whether it can be skimmed if it is warped |
