I have a 2006 Rodeo 2.5, with the electronic fuel pump. For a couple of years I haven't been able to drive, so she was turned over regularly but became smoky. I did a fuel service, left her on tick over. The smoke got worse, looked like diesel. It stopped and refused to start again! Cutting a long story short I replaced everything from the tank to the engine. Dropped the tank and cleaned it out. Replaced the fuel filter and hand pump underneath. Bled it all and got good pressure to the electronic pump, but little coming out of the pipes to the injectors. Oh injector pump? Got another, swapped the electronics over to the new pump, and little came out of that either. I've tried everything other than the relay or perhaps is there an electric pump in the tank I didn't realise? I know this is doubtful as there is the hand pump on top of the filter. The engine has done 100k. I've owned it since 19k serviced it every 5k. The engine is quiet running never uses oil, and has always started first time. It is immaculate and I want to run it forever other than this little hick up! I am disabled so jobs take me a little longer. I had to buy a cheap run around whilst I attempt to sort it. Can anyone help with suggestions I might of missed please. Yes I have a manual but find it inconsistent with this model. The 2.5 in question has timing gears, although the markings differ from the manual, ha! Many thanks in anticipation. Dave.

pumps are not coded you can just swap them over with no issues, the pump is also a common failure point as well, have you tried bridging pins 6 and 4 in the drag plug and seeing if theres any fault codes via the flashing of the check engine light

Hi, thank you for that. I will try bridging tomorrow. Interestingly no faults have come up at present anyway!

Hi again, nothing happening at the dash at all. No error codes or flashing of anything. I wired the last two together in the plug which I think is 4 and 6 (to the right as you look at it.

OK as you look at the plug there are a group of four in a square then blanks then the last two. I looped the last two.
