Hi all

Just bought a really nice low mileage Citation for repair, unfortunately it has the engine management light on. When I crank it over it won't start but, if turn the ignition on then disconnect and then reconnect the connection to what seems to be the injector wiring harness it sometimes starts and when it does it's smooth. The connections look ok, just wondering if the harness itself would create the fault. If so would a tech 2 diagnostics show exactly where the fault is ?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Paul

Is the conection oily, they do suffer from being contaminated with oil as the wires sit inside the top of the engine and oil migrates via capilary action.
If the multi plug is "wet" Try cleaning with electrical cleaner or brake cleaner, thoroughly dry out and see whwere you go from there. Worth a go.

Ok cut the white wire and it starts on the key every time. Which leads me to believe it could be the ORPS sensor, dose that sound correct ?

Thanks again.
