Been told I need a new sump for 97 3.1. After doing research, slightly confused.
Are there two sumps? an upper and a lower?

some people call it an upper sump but it's part of the crankcase really and made of ally where as the sump is made of steel

Thanks. Ok reckon it must be the lower steel one as the problem is corrosion
