Hi all,
I recently purchased a 96 bighorn. The TOD check light is constantly flashing, the rear wheels remain illuminated in 2wd but when placed into 4wd the wheels flash on the TOD system and 4wd does not engage.
I’ve checked all vaccuum lines and cables, even pulled centre console and checked.
I then bypassed the top VSV and the 4wd engages fine, however the TOD still flashes.
Any ideas? Is it the VSV that needs replacing or switch or something else? The 4wd switch in the cab seems to do nothing.
I pulled the VSV’s apart and gave them a clean and checked with multimeter and they seem fine.
